20 Year Olds shine in CONCACAF Champions League (9/20/13)

Panama's Arabe Unido has been the team to follow this CONCACAF Champions League season as they have managed to be leaders of Group 1 which includes Houston Dynamo of the MLS and DirectTV W Connection. Two names to note are a pair of 20 year olds by the names of Luis Fraiz and Abdiel Arroyo as the young Posso Futbol clients gave them the 2-0 victory away at W Connection in Trinidad & Tobago. Both players have also been mainstays with the Panamanian Under-20 National Team set up and have very bright futures.

Roman Torres and Panama Top Mexico in Gold Cup (7/25/13)

Congratulations are in order for Panama as they have shocked powerhouse Mexico to advance to the 2013 Gold Cup Final against the United States. With goals from Roman Torres and Blas Perez, Panama defeated Mexico by a score of 2-1 and have continued to show that Panama as a nation is rising, joining the elite of the CONCACAF region.

Santiago Montoya signs new deal with Vasco Da Gama (6/17/13)

Young Colombian winger Santiago Montoya Munoz has officially signed a contract with Brazilian club Vasco Da Gama. Montoya was highly coveted not only in South America, but also wanted by clubs in Europe after his outstanding performances in the Argentine Primera with All Boys. The 21 year old will look to use his pace and technical ability to also take Brazil by storm.
